Fraud AlertWe have been made aware of a scam asking members to participate in a "potential" class action lawsuit against AltaOne for fraudulent mortgage transactions. If you receive one of these phony notices, it is important to know the following:
1. AltaOne is not a party to any class action lawsuit.
2. All AltaOne mortgages fully comply with all federal and state laws and regulations.
3. All AltaOne member information is held in strictest confidence according to federal and state laws; so the members’ information was procured by a third party through a records search of deeds at the county level.
You should always be wary of any communication received that does not have the company's name readily and prominently displayed.
